the story behind our cups
It all began in a studio apartment in the heart of Houston, Texas. University of Houston graduate, Rachel Dalziel was complaining to a classmate about the lack of options for period care and the steadily increasing costs associated with sanitary products. The discussion ignited a bright idea and the ladies quickly went to work. Equipped with the college library and various resources available to students on campus, the girls founded Mallory Cup TM in 2017, as an alternative solution to pads and tampons. Since its inception, the team has expanded, officially opening its online retail store in 2020 so that Mallory Cup could be available to all girls and women across the nation.
Girls on a Mission
The Mallory Cup team members have dedicated their time to “The New Cycle” initiative, where they organize outreach programs to teach teenagers and young women the importance of feminine hygiene and menstrual management. Look at how much has been accomplished in such a short time:
